Can I defer my Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF)?

Your tuition HECS-HELP loan does not cover your Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).

If you meet the eligibility requirements, you can defer your Student Services and Amenities Fee by submitting an SA-HELP form. This loan is separate to your loan for tuition fees.

Ready to apply? Log in to My Study with your SIMS log in details 

  • Click ‘Manage My Course’. 

  • Click the ‘Government Assistance’ menu item 

  • Complete the relevant online forms.  

Your SA-HELP form, along with your Tax File Number (TFN), must be completed, submitted and approved prior to Census, otherwise your SSAF will need to be paid in full.
