Swinburne is under mandatory reporting to the Department of Home Affairs for all changes to your student status.
Any approved modification to your course progress will be reported to the Department of Home Affairs.
If you are granted Leave of Absence for compassionate or compelling circumstances, we will provide you with an updated Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) with the new course end date to cover the period of approved leave.
Will I need to apply for a new student visa?
Depending on the length of your Leave of Absence, you may need to re-apply for a new student visa.
