What documents do I receive after graduation?
Upon successful completion of your course, Swinburne provides graduates with the following official documents:
- Digital Academic Transcript – A certified record of your academic results
- Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) – A summary of your qualification, learning outcomes, and achievements
- Testamur – Your official graduation certificate
These documents are provided free of charge in digital format.
How do I access my graduation documents?
You’ll receive an email notification once your documents are ready. They can be accessed securely via the My eQuals portal, which allows you to view, download and share your credentials.
What is the AHEGS statement?
The Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) is a nationally endorsed document that provides:
- A description of your qualification
- Details of your academic achievements
- Context about the Australian higher education system
It helps employers and institutions understand your qualification both locally and internationally.
Please note: The Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) is not available to Vocational Education students. It is available to Higher Education students only.
Can I request printed copies?
Yes. While digital copies are free, printed versions of your testamur, academic transcript and AHEGS can be ordered for a fee. Visit the Graduation Documents page for details on how to request them.
