The Professional Placements program is a fantastic way to work in a position relevant to your studies before you graduate. Professional Placements are optional, full-time, paid positions and are 6 or 12 months in duration.

Placements earn you credit towards your degree but will extend the length of your course by the duration of your placement (6 or 12 months).

What are the benefits of undertaking a professional placement?

Participating in a Professional Placement helps you:

  • Gain a competitive edge when you graduate
  • Clarify your career direction
  • Build professional confidence
  • Connect with and be mentored by industry professionals
  • Gain insight into organisational structures and workplace operations

International students are only eligible to complete a 12-month professional placement and must be able to transfer to a relevant professional degree.
