To request a recheck of your mark, first email your unit convenor:
- Outline your concerns and make an appointment to discuss your assessment
- This must be done within 10 working days of your results being published
If you're not satisfied with the outcome of your meeting, you can lodge a complaint:
- You must submit your complaint within 21 working days of being notified of the outcome
- Your complaint will be assessed to determine if you are eligible for a reassessment
- In your complaint you need to be clear about the reasons about why your work should have been marked higher. Reasons such as ‘performing well in other units’, ‘performing well in earlier assessment tasks’, or ‘needing to pass’ are not reasonable grounds for re-marking work or awarding additional marks
