Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is a number that summarises your academic performance. It can show your results for a teaching period, a year or a whole course.

In short, the calculation is:

  • Higher Education GPA = Total grades points earned divided by the total credit points attempted i.e. GPA = 175/100 = 1.75 (4 point scale)

  • Vocational Education & Training GPA = Total grade points divided by the total student contact hours i.e. GPA = 625/245 = 2.55 (4-point scale)
