Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is a number that summarises your academic performance. It can show your results for a teaching period, a year or a whole course.
In short, the calculation is:
Higher Education GPA = Total grades points earned divided by the total credit points attempted i.e. GPA = 175/100 = 1.75 (4 point scale)
- Vocational Education & Training GPA = Total grade points divided by the total student contact hours i.e. GPA = 625/245 = 2.55 (4-point scale)
How to view your GPA:
- Login to your Student Portal and head to ‘My Overview’ - your GPA can be found under ‘Coursework Summary’
- Your GPA also appears on your academic transcript
