A temporary grade is used while your final grade is being resolved:
- SPX – Special Examination (awarded where you have been granted a special final assessment task to be taken in a later final assessment or special final assessment period)
- DEF – Deferred (typically, when your convenor has provided an extension for you to submit your work and, as a result, your final grade for the unit will not be available in time for result publication date)
- CON – Continuing (where the unit is in progress, after the result publication date)
- Temporary grades will be amended to a pass/fail grade once you have completed the Special Final Assessment Task or submitted your work, that you may have received an extension for, and your grade has been finalised by your Unit Convenor
