What is the difference between matched and unmatched credits?

Matched and Unmatched Credits are forms of recognition of studies you've previously completed and can help you reduce the number of units you need to complete to get your qualification.

Matched Credit:
Credit granted for a specific unit in your course. You do not need to complete this unit.

Unmatched Credit:
Credit that is not linked to a specific unit. It still counts towards your course completion and may apply to electives or component units.
