What are Student Services and Amenities Fees (SSAF)?

What does my SSAF pay for? 
Support for on Campus, Online and OUA students beyond their usual academic needs. 

These include: 

  • Health and welfare including medical, psychiatric and chiropractic care

  • Employment services and careers advice, including resume writing assistance 

  • Sports and recreation 

  • Student clubs 

  • Childcare

  • Legal service 

  • Financial advice and support 

  • Study skills development 

  • Student advocacy

When do I need to pay my SSAF fee? 

Your SSAF fee is due on the Census Date of each study period in which you are enrolled. You can find the census date for all study periods on our Academic calendar. 

  • If you do not meet the eligibility requirements, you will need to pay your SSAF in full. 

Do I have to pay my SSAF fee? 

You are required to pay the Student Services and Amenities Fee UNLESS you are enrolled in one of the exempt categories. To find a list of the exempt categories, please visit the Student Services and Amenities Fees webpage.
